Kristine obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois in 2017. She graduated from University of Tampa with a B.S. in Exercise Science while participating in college swimming.
She has taken additional coursework in Dry Needling and McKenzie Method for the lumbar spine and has a special interest in ankle and foot rehabilitation.
Kristine enjoys helping patients return to their prior level of function at home and within the community. She has treated patients of all ages in a variety of clinical areas including: pediatric orthopedics, foot/ankle pain and dysfunction, post-operative, balance training, and return to sport rehabilitation. She practices an evidence-based, patient-centered approach to treatment with a focus on functional strengthening, patient education, and facilitating an active lifestyle.
Kristine lives in Crown Point with her husband, daughter, and labrador retriever. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, cycling on her Peloton, and spending time with family.
Rebecca completed her Physical Therapist Assistant schooling at Ivy Tech Community College in Crown Point, IN in 2022. She has over 4 years of experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting and prior to that she has spent time working as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She joined the PursuitPT Team in 2023.
Rebecca believes that physical therapy is an opportunity to empower patients to become the strongest, healthiest version of themselves through individualized, goal focused treatment plans. She has experience treating patients of all fitness levels with a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. She has a special interest in treating patients who are experiencing back pain, neck pain, TMJ and sports related injuries.
Outside of the clinic, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and watching her son participate in baseball and football. She also loves cycling on her Peloton and spending time outdoors in the garden.
Nicole earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois in 2023. She completed her undergraduate education at Indiana University Northwest where she obtained a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Psychology.
She has a special interest in treating spine and pelvic conditions. Nicole has completed specialty training in Dry Needling as well as Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
Nicole is passionate about helping her patients achieve their goals. Her treatment approach is based on current evidence tailored to patient needs with an emphasis on patient education. Her areas of interest include back pain, hip pain, pelvic pain, bowel or bladder dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, and pre-and post-partum care. Nicole lives in Crown Point with her boyfriend and puppy and enjoys hiking, biking, and paddle boarding.
Megan completed her Physical Therapist Assistant schooling at Ivy Tech Community College in Crown Point, IN in 2018. She has over 6 years of experience working as a PTA, and before that served as a physical therapy technician for an additional 2 years. She joined the PursuitPT team in 2024.
Megan has also completed a certification for balance and vestibular training, including BPPV in her outpatient experience. She especially enjoys working within orthopedic populations and continuing to further her treatment ability. She enjoys connecting with people and being a positive presence to provide hope and give patients the tools they need to help them reach their maximum potential.
Megan lives in Valpo with her husband, baby boy, and 2 pups. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being surrounded by nature, whether that be through hiking, kayaking, or camping. Megan also has a passion for traveling and loves being immersed in unfamiliar cultures.
Kyla obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hanover College in 2024 in Hanover, Indiana. She completed her undergraduate degree from Indiana University Northwest with a B.A. in Biology with a minor in psychology. Prior to achieving her doctoral degree, she spent 3 years as a rehabilitation technician in an outpatient setting.
She has a passion to serve the community through optimizing patient’s movement to reach their goals. Kyla believes that therapy is designed to be a personalized experience by using evidence-based practice and patient education to encourage patients to live their lives to the fullest. She has an interest in treating the orthopedic population and continuing education regarding pelvic floor pain specifically pre and post-partum care.
Kyla lives in Hobart with her husband and golden retriever. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new coffee shops, and walking and running on outdoor trails.
Becca earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis in 2025. She also completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Indianapolis, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. During that time, she obtained certifications as a personal trainer and exercise physiologist. Throughout her academic career, Becca gained valuable experience working as a physical therapy technician and patient service specialist for six years in an outpatient setting.
Driven by a passion for helping others, Becca entered the field of physical therapy to support individuals in reaching their goals and becoming the best versions of themselves. She is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs and goals for every session. Her clinical interests include treating neck, back, hip, and knee pain, as well as working with pre- and post-partum patients, and additionally, those experiencing balance challenges. She has completed continuing education in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is looking forward to expanding her skill set with upcoming training in dry needling and spinal manipulation.
Outside the clinic, Becca enjoys an active lifestyle filled with hiking, running, working out, and boating. She also loves traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and watching sports with her husband.
Haley completed her Physical Therapist Assistant schooling at Ivy Tech Community College in Crown Point, IN, in 2021. She has worked for over 4 years as a PTA, and before that, she had 4 years of experience working as a rehab technician. She graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Movement and Sport Sciences while participating in color guard with the All-American Marching Band.
She has completed continuing education in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is especially interested in treating patients who are experiencing pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, and pre-and post-partum.
Haley lives in Crown Point with her husband, son, and 3 cats. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, camping, and reading.
Pat obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2025 from the Krannert School of Physical Therapy at the University of Indianapolis. He graduated from Wabash College with a B.A. in Biology while playing collegiate football.
As a former physical therapy patient, Pat enjoys empathizing with patients and helping them to achieve their goals and optimal level of function. He prefers a multidimensional and evidence-based treatment approach, incorporating a combination of manual therapy, modalities, and exercise, to provide an individualized plan of care tailored to each patient. His areas of interest include working with athletes of all ages and levels, sports rehabilitation, and addressing issues such as shoulder pain, back pain, knee pain, and care for pre- and post-operative patients.
Pat currently resides in Hobart, where he enjoys an active lifestyle of lifting, running, and playing basketball. He loves spending time with his friends and family, dogs, playing golf, and watching all sports – especially football, basketball, baseball, and hockey.
Amanda obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, in 2019. She completed her undergraduate education at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, where she studied Biology and Spanish. She further has the distinction of being board-certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Amanda has completed additional coursework with Dry Needling, the McKenzie method for lumbar spine, running analysis, and post-operative rehabilitation techniques for the knee and shoulder.
Amanda has extensive experience with both conservative and postoperative care in orthopedics, as well as additional experience in pediatric and prosthetic care. She especially enjoys hip and knee rehabilitation with a focus on hip preservation care in individuals with impingement, labral tears, and hip dysplasia.
Amanda entered the field of physical therapy with a desire to provide not only excellent evidence-based care but also to support every individual through their rehabilitation and recovery. She is passionate about providing individualized, patient-centered care and believes in the importance of teamwork between therapist and patient to help every patient achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, spending time outdoors, visiting local coffee shops, and reading.
As the Patient Service Coordinator and Office Manager at Pursuit PT, Jomaria takes pride in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for every patient who walks through our doors. Her goal is to ensure that each person feels supported throughout their journey, from their first appointment to the achievement of their wellness goals.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with my family and friends and loves to travel. Whether it’s exploring a new city or discovering hidden gems close to home, She loves experiencing different cultures, food, and scenery-it is her reminder that there’s always something new to learn and enjoy.

Kristy is our Director of Social Media. She has over 10 years of experience in healthcare and the fitness industry. She has experience as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and gym manager. She is a CrossFit L-1, NASM-certified personal trainer, and corrective exercise specialist. She also spent 3 years between Purdue University and PUC studying Hospitality and Tourism Management.
She loves using her creativity and bringing a fun energy to showcase the staff at PursuitPT. She also enjoys making connections with people and encouraging them to reach their goals. She loves being a part of a team that truly cares for people and helps them to continue to do the activities that they love.
Outside of the clinic, Kristy loves to spend time with her husband and two boys. When she’s not watching her son at a swim meet, she is a foodie, loves to travel, and is an avid Crossfitter.
Katherine is a people person at heart, with a true passion for helping others feel their best, both physically and emotionally. Before stepping into the world of physical therapy, she built her career connecting with people as both a recruiter and a hairstylist, which taught her the value of listening, empathy, and personal connection. Now, as a Patient Care Coordinator in physical therapy, she brings that same dedication to making sure every patient feels supported from their very first phone call to their last day of treatment. She loves being a resource for patients—answering questions, helping schedule their care, and making their therapy experience as smooth and positive as possible. Her goal is to create an encouraging environment where each patient feels heard, valued, and motivated on their road to recovery.
In her personal life, she loves spending time with her fiancé, dog, friends, and family. She also enjoys being outside, spending time on the boat, and hosting cookouts and dinners at their home with family and friends.
Melisa earned her degree in Psychology from Indiana University, with additional studies in Exercise Science. Her background supports a well-rounded understanding of both patient care and healthcare options.
As the Billing Specialist, Melisa helps patients navigate insurance, billing, and account questions with clarity and care. She brings experience in healthcare coordination and client services and is dedicated to making the billing process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Outside of work, Melisa enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and kids.
Heather Karm is a Patient Service Coordinator at Pursuit Physical Therapy, where she combines her passion for helping others with a strong background in health and fitness. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Anderson University, where she was also a member of the swim team, and a master’s degree in Kinesiology from Southeastern University.
With a solid foundation in personal training and a deep understanding of human movement, Heather brings both knowledge and empathy to her role. She is committed to making every patient feel welcomed, supported, and empowered throughout their recovery journey. Her favorite part of the job is connecting with people and playing a part in their path to better health.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, cooking, baking, and being with family and friends.
Annie Lachowicz is an AR Insurance Specialist who focuses on patient advocacy, simplifying complex insurance benefits, and securing fair coverage. Annie leverages her sharp analytical skills and detail-oriented approach to accurately assess complex claims and resolve problems for patients, ensuring they receive the best possible insurance solutions. With over a year of experience, she is dedicated to minimizing billing issues. Currently earning her medical coding certification, Annie is committed to enhancing claims accuracy and supporting her company’s financial integrity.
In her spare time, Annie enjoys cheering on her son at his sporting events and enjoying every moment she can with him. When she’s not with him, she’s likely spending time with her sisters, nieces, and nephews-or relaxing over coffee with friends.
Woody completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences, College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota in 2018. He graduated from Trinity Christian College with a B.A. in Exercise Science while playing soccer. He founded PursuitPT in 2021.
In addition to staying current on neck and back pain research, Woody pursued an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency in order to further specialize in orthopedic physical therapy. He has also completed continuing education for the treatment of back and neck pain. In 2020, Woody achieved the prestigious honor of becoming board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Woody prefers to take a hands-on approach to therapy to assist his patients in meeting their goals. His areas of interest include back pain, neck pain, jaw pain, CrossFit/fitness athletes, sports injury rehabilitation, running-related injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. As a former collegiate soccer player, Woody also enjoys working with soccer athletes. Woody lives in Hobart with his wife, daughter, sons, and dog and enjoys activities such as exercise, backpacking, triathlon, CrossFit, and sports.
